View Full Version : Personal Member Titles

In the course of our daily festivities in the now hidden Admin forum, we all got together in a druken stupper (as drunk as a bunch of guys can be with a sober admin) and came up with an idea. Vanity Member Titles. Of course, this is not the process of asking and getting what you want. Since we see this is a half-arsed democratic forum, we decided to nominate the names and toss them out here for a vote.

hackercarlos: Mr. Grins (Kinda Obvious Why :D )
Sarge: The Preacher Man (The Preacher Said "Amen")
Lawyer Ron: The Gavel (He's a Lawyer...what else could we do?)

Of Course, these will not take effect if everyone nixes the idea, or the people specified do not want the names. (That means I want the three of you to say whether you want them or not in this thead so it's clear to all of us...if you don't, I'll take it as a "I died yesterday" :( )

I have no objection.

I would like to contest the election. I demand a full fair and accurate count. Oh, by the way, speaking of member titles, I just passed the 750 barrier. I have graduated once again.

mairving,
Sorry, but you have not passed the 750 barrier. We have determined that 3 of your posts were incomplete. We need to therefore determine your "intent", or in other words whether you "intended to post".

LawyerRon,
save your breath, in the end, some judge will decide whether mairving deserves whatever member title...

I mean this in the most repectful way, Chancellor.

Interesting how this site has now evolved to TITLES...could it be subconsious government beauraucracy...MADoc?...

Its neat how this site has evolved over the short time :) that I have been visiting.

We now deal with more ads, merchandise (that Canadians can' f|_|(|{||\| get!!!!!) and "different" forums...other than techy...kind of like a little "society"...sort of...

With people who threaten to leave because they choose to enter a thread that bothers them...then, later, TITLE people!?!

Maybe we can vote on who will be Chancellor for the next term...or maybe a Cooking forum, so we can share recipes...or a Canadian Forum, for all our important Canadian stuff,eh!

or maybe Reboot(Jim)...The CRAZYCANUCK, can be the Canadian embassador to the pcmedia american chapte (not affiliated with the americanantipoliticsregime or the Europeanpeontotalitaranism)...oh yeah he already is...

hmmm I guess we need princess then. A VIRGIN princess, of course.

(this is the cover as$ part of my thread)(so i don't get the boot:)

Now I'm not saying that the names aren't good. Just that it is surprising who "brung" it up.

I choose my login name as my title.

You wanted a drunken stupper ramble...baby you just got part of one. Yes I realize i am late, and the changes have been made...thank you very much!
See...its al a great bigconspiracy to get you to BUY more PC Mechanic...no no PC Mech stuff...pcmechanic brings you to some weird porn site or something...maybe...or just leaves

We have been talking about personal user names in the forum to identify those regular members that are an outstanding part of the PC Mech Forum. We still offer a broad base of tech forums, and I feel that our Forum Staff, Mod and Member, are doing an above perfect job of helping everyone that needs help.

As for the banners, as you should all know by now, once ALL of pcmech.com moves over to the eFront Network, they will use more targeted Banner adds (techie adds) and therefore drop popup ads all together. Just bear with us for a month and we'll work on it!

Hey goodcanuck
If you record your drunken stupor message and play it backwards, it says, "John Lennon is Dead". Good job!

Dok, since you can change individual titles, how about changing mine to Memphis, Tn. U.S.A. this would be a perfect way to get locations back for those of us who want them.

Mattman

Doc you're nuts.

Jomama
12-21-2000, 08:46 PM
Look out Mattman, do not incite any riots! Do not question PCMECH authority.
It tends to overload the servers and "bugs" the DB. hehe
We love the DoK, he is the man.
But you know, he does have the "control" problem.
So, they call you something else, who cares, this is still the best site for PC info and PCcomraderie (sp). I love this place.

How does one get a nomination for a title? I think they are so cool.

M. A. Dockter
12-22-2000, 02:31 PM
I've always had a theory about the man words for "crazy"

Every man is "nuts", but those that don't admit it are the ones that have to harbor tons of pent-up emotion, and finally burst into what many call "true insanity." Those that can humbly admit they are "nuts" are perfectly fine.

Yes Mattman, I am "nuts."

On a side note, I've never called anoyone on this forum insane, only reminded them where the door was and carried out acts of banishment that were discussed in the admin forum. I don't really appriciate being called crazy (despite what I said directly above) in such a manner, as I have never done it to anyone here.

Hmmm....
These user titles could be good. The resident lawyer (thats you Ron) has an appropriate title as does "carlos".
There have been a few suggestions as to my title and I was wondering what you folks have for suggestions.

Doc= Frankie N. Stien (drunken stupor post)

Gawd this overtime is killing me...I cant think...:D
(so whats new eh?)
