Monitor refresh rates

i have a 19" Daytek 95P monitor. The refresh rate is set at optimal? Would this be higher than 75HZ. Or do they all operate around 60HZ. I went to the website, but was unablre to find any info on how to set the refresh properly. I play a Sim game that requires a 75HZ rate to be rock solid.

Hey everyone, i am sorry to have wasted your time. I found the manual for my monitor, and it shows a chart of the settings and what refresh rate they support.:)

Generally you want 85hz or above for the least eye strain. What resolution your monitor will do @ 60hz doesn't matter, what it'll do at 100hz is a judge of it's quality ;).

id set urs to 1280x1024 and set it to the highest refresh rate. :D
