F*ing GATOR!!!

I just ran AdAware, deleted Gator and rebooted my PC, GATOR IS STILL THERE! :rolleyes: And there's something else, not sure if it should be there or not. The filename is iegator_4090_hd3ptdmgainads[1].cab Can this be deleted or is it part of Internet Explorer? Thank you in advance!

Hmmm, 9 views and no replies. I guess nobody knows what it is or what to do about it. Good thing I searched for the file on google. It's listed at www.annoyances.org, and since it was in my temp internet files, I deleted it and rebooted, did a find files and folders, no more gator. So, figured I'd post out of courtesy for those that don't know.

Spybot Search and Destroy does a good job of finding some things that Adaware leaves behind. Have you updated Adaware lately?
Anyway, glad you got rid of it.
