Ok...For the past few months I have been receiving sudden re-boots...I turned off Automatic restart to get a Blue Screen...Most of the time is says win32k.sys has caused the problem...But others such as Ntfs.sys and others have come up too....I thought it was my video card..So i ditched the Radeon 9000 Pro and bought a GeForce FX5200...Still getting them...Upgraded ram...And still getting em...I use a program called CPU Idle Pro and that helps cool the computer 40 degrees...Without it i usually run 130-140 temps...and now i run at 80-90 degrees. So i dont think my problem is heat...I've tryed re-formatting with a fresh install of Windows XP...Still does it...Now im too the point where this happens WAY too much...Im thinking maybe the processor might be the problem...

System Specs:

Board: Gigabyte Technology Co., LTD 7DX
Bus Clock: 133 megahertz
BIOS: Award Software International, Inc. 6.00 PG 04/11/2002
Processor: 1666 megahertz AMD Athlon XP
512 Megabytes Installed Memory (PC-2100)
Windows XP Professional Service Pack 1 (build 2600)
NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200 [Display adapter]

Should i upgrade my processor to a Athlon 2100+?

Give me your 2 cents....

---UpDATE---

I installed new heat sink and fan....Now i idle at 110F and with CPUIdle Pro I Idle at 80F....

Still gettin the blue screens...Im thinkin maybe power supply

You have an Athlon 1900+, correct?

What are your temp readings in the BIOS?

Is that what showed up in the BIOS?

Third party progs aren't always accurate.

Try swapping out the RAM with another brand if you can.

This may be a shot in the dark, what kind of power supply does your system have? I don't believe that changing the processor will make a difference.

Did it do this before using Cpu idle pro? This program is known to put a strain on power supplies.
