Hey guys I just picked up Nero 6 with InCD 4. I have always had problems with InCD in the past. It works GREAT; formatted a blank cdrw in about 30 seconds and I was copying files to the cdrw. I am going to try making some data cds with Nero later this evening.

How do you like the updated interface for Nero? I have 5.5 so I'm trying to convince myself to upgrade.

The wizard is gone, or at least I have not found it yet. Just burned a few backup disks and it worked fine.
I was never able to use INCD before, so that is a big improvement.

From what I can see, Nero 6 seems to be a slight improvement over 5.5. It still burns just as well, but the interface seems cleaner and easier to navigate around.
It also seems they have done away with the wizard completely, and the bundled Nero Express has been allotted that duty.

Im a little weary of upgrading to nero 6 if my 5.5 software was bundled with my cd burner how can i upgrade with out having it give me a fit?

If it is bundled software, upgrades are not free. If you bought 5.5 after May 1, then you can get a free upgrade to 6. If 5.5 is working for you, then there is no need to upgrade.
I like the fact the INCD actually works now; I was never able to use it in any previous release. That alone was worth the cost. The burning software seems to work well; I have only made a few disks since I installed it.

I too use Nero 5.5 and noticed that version 6 seems to suffer from "feature itis". Is there anyway to configure 6 to have the simple interface of 5.5? Thanks.

Click nero express; just like the old wizard.
