Im trying to get the onboard audio for my ASUS P4P800 deluxe to work, but so far, it isn't being detected. This is a brand new build running xp home. I didnt hook up any front panal audio connections yet, and those jumpers are still in there original place in my motherboard. Also, there is no driver installed, and the SoundMax driver available on the ASUS website wont unzip correctly. I accidently left my manual at the place where I assembled the computer, and I wont be able to get it until tommorow at the earliest, and the ASUS site doesnt seem to have one in english. It should still be detected even without the driver right? Does anyone know what the problem might be?
