I want to make my IP invisible when I go surfing on the web. What is a proxy server? Will it do the job?
I want total anonymity from the RIAA, motion picture industry and any other company out there that believes that they have the right to sell my personal information, track where I go on the web , or come snooping around my hard drives. Any suggestions are welcome.
I have a Compaq Presario 5322RSH, three years old. 1.7 gig clock, 768 mb's of mem, Pentium four, cd burner, DVD-rom, and two 100 gig hard drives running the infernal Windows XP Professional.
