 I upgraded to Windows XP Home a month or so ago and I'm looking to buy a book on Windows XP that teaches intermediate through advanced concepts. Any suggestions?

Start > Help and support.
Everything is in there, and if not, it's all on the MS website. You don't need a hardcover.

And if you don't understand, or need help with something, post here.

And if you really need a book "Windows XP for Dummies" has the combination of useless and needed that will drive you crazy.

Microsoft Press probably prints the best books on its products of anyone making manuals. The downside there are usually several different ones and they can be expensive.

Que prints good detailed manuals as well. I'm sure there are others but these are the ones I buy.

I got "Mastering Windows XP Home edition" by Guy Hart-Davis , published by Sybex

Have used it a lot , and would recommend it.
