I don't know what is wrong.

Now here is what I recently found out- I found that one of my contacts on msn messenger is cheeky or dumb enough to try hack my pc. Sygate pointed that out, now I am not sure how far he got in or destryed the pc, but everytime I run macafee 7.0+ the pc restarts in the middle of the scan. Does anyone know what kind of problem is this?How to fix it? I have the real time scan always on.

Have you tried uninstalling mcafee and then reinstalling it,also go to trendmicro to run a test for virus there http://housecall.antivirus.com/housecall/start_corp.asp and also try this anti trojan site somewhat like trends site http://www.trojanscan.com/trojanscan/trojanscan.htm hope this helps.

had a computer at work get a virus... every time we tried to run Mcafee the program would just disappear without letting us run a scan... so we bought Norton anti-virus... Norton got rid of the virus and now it's all happy... eldon's suggestion is great for you to run an anti-virus program from another company...

well I did both. but during scan the C: my pc restarts. I tried the trojan..then restart while scan, I tried the snac olso same. Even my mcafee is restart. adware has no problems. so does regcleaner
