Can I somehow send message to other users in my home network, accepot with MSN, AOL... messengers?
We are all running XP Pro

grrr! ive done it before, i got into trouble in school for that reason... i just cant member, but im sure it'll come back to me

If you haven't disabled it... you can use windows messenger (not the same as the instant messaging program). If i remember correctly, go to a command prompt - type in
net send [computer name] [your message]

U can use Lan Messengers to do jus that. Try <a href="http://www.tucows.com/lanmessengers95_default.html"> here </a>.
I used Lantalk, OK for wat ur looking for.
