help adding xp pc with existing router

Hi...I have a Linksys router with Comcast connection to two existing pcs...when I try to add my new pc (also running XP) the wizard says it can't complete task. Can someone tell me how I can do this manually. Thanks

Control Panel > Open Network Connections > Right click Local Area Network and choose properties > Select TCP/IP and click properties > Choose Obtain IP address and DNS server address automatically > Click advanced. DHCP should be enabled under IP address.
