First build...stuck =p

Ok... so this is my first build.

I just mounted the mobo, got the heatsink/fan on there and the ram.

Now I want to put the cdrom and dvdrom and HDD in there.

This is my problem:
I cant seem to figure out how to put my CD/DVD roms into the case I have.

I have a Chieftec case.

Any help would be nice.

First, you need to pop those plastic covers off the drive bays. These will come off easily with your fingers. Then you'll need to pop the metal covers underneath off of the case chassis. I usually push them outwards enough to get a flathead screwdriver in there and pry it off. It will take a bit of force. Once the covers are off, slide the drive in from the front and secure it will some screws. HTH :)

Ah, I got to the part where I popped everthing off. Now... when I put the drive in .. the drives have places for screws but where do I screw them in?? there arent holes except for teh huge ones and the other holes done line up properly

Yes, I see. Those large holes are different.

Did the case come with any parts that could be used to fit the drives in?

Yes it is... but I need to know what I should OC my 2500+ to... i have it at 205*10 right now.. .should I change this?

I think on a first build, you should leave it at stock speeds till you are sure everything is working properly, then read up on all aspects of overclocking before you try it.
