I bought a HDD fan when I built this comp for no very good reason.
Now, I'm installing them 4 or 5 times a week.
If your comp gets dodgy come hot weather a HDD fan may be your solution ( those of you with airconditioning can ignore this ).
Check your case for ventilation grids, and, if it's opposite the HDD, install the fan and watch the problems disappear.
I buy CoolerMaster from CompUSA but I'm betting any other quiet fan will do the job.
You get peace of mind for, around here, $8.00.
