What are your CPU temps?

What is everyones CPU temps? What CPU, MoBo (does it matter?), what HSF?

Anyone reccomend a good fan for P4 (OC)? I was looking at the Tt P4 Spark 7

PII 400MHz with stock HSF on a Shuttle Spacewalker HOT-641.

CPU temp: I don't know and I don't care...computer runs nice and stable, that's all that matters.

I have an XP 2100+ and just put a new Aerocool Heatsink on my CPU. It cools a lot better, but I am not getting the temperatures that I really wanted. These are my temps as of right now:

CPU - 46 C
MB - 32 C

Active Temps:

CPU - 53-55 C
MB - 40-42 C

Some of you think you have high temps look at mine,
System- 31-39C
CPU- 61-69C
Heatsink/fan not sure what it is but its suposed to cool a 1700mhz cpu.
But I havn't had any problems with the computer shutting down. I've herd that giga-byte mobo aren't that good, could the temp sensors be giving wrong readings?

Find out what kind of heatsink fan you have on your processor chip. Let us know. The CPU temp to me seems a little bit high even though I have been wondering about mine! Lemme know!

I just changed the fan on t to a 80mm blue led fan that only has 2400rpm instead of the stock that is a 60 mm 5000rpm, but the temps are the same as before I changed it.

What you need to do is buy a better heatsink fan. Thermaltake Volcanos are noisy, but they work great. They have adjustable speed and have a thermostat that goes in between the heatsink and processor to keep a constant or faster speed until the chip has cooled off enough.

I dont like all the noise so I found this new Aerocool Deep Impact liquid cool heatsink. Much more quiet and gives better results. With my Thermaltake I had to run the fan very fast sometimes almost full speed. Now this new heatsink fan can run much slower without all the noise. Shop around. See what other people say! :-)

$35.00 is the most you would have to spend. Trust me. They are not that expensive. I would even ship you my extra Thermaltake Volcano 9 if you are that broke. Trust me...

mobo 36c 70C?! That's really hot for a Slot 1 CPU. Where are you getting this temp from? The BIOS? A Windows health utility?

And what kind of heatsink are you using? I have both a PII and PIII 450MHz and they both run in the low 40's C at idle. The PII has a big passive heatsink and the PIII has the stock Intel heatsink with fan.

My computer is so hot I could fry eggs on it.

But my cousin has a p4 2.0 overclocked to 2.2 with the stock heatsink. Idle, the motherboard is <30C and the Cpu is about 40.

I just transfered my components into my new case and my temps are over 30 F cooler than before. My new temps are:

MB - 17 C
CPU - 40 C

Loving it! By the way, my new case is the CompUSA/Chieftec blue tower. It has the clear plexi-glass side and I put in a 350 watt Smart Blue Antec power supply and blue Antec LED fans. I also changed my IDE cables to the round cable and not the ribbon! Looks great! Wish I had a pic to show everyone!
