Sticky keys?

I just got myself an MS cordless keyboard, nothing fancy. Being an ardent FPS gamer, my finger is almost permanently on the W key (for example). Problem is, sometimes when I remove my finger, I continue to go forward until I tap W again. This also happens with the other movement / lean keys. Is this something to do with "Sticky keys" and if so, how do I fix it?

this should be an option controlled by the software that you installed (or will install after you read this) when you hooked up the keyboard.

what you are experiencing is the repeat function of the keyboard, the longer you hold down the key, the more and faster the letter is "typed".
