Xaser III Side Panel

Hey, I am planning on getting the xaser iii from newegg that doesn't have a window on the side panel. I want to buy a plain chieftec side panel and cut my own window into it, but I'm not sure if a regular chieftec window will fit into a thermaltake xaser iii case (mainly for reasons of extra features only found on a xaser iii, like special door locking and stuff). Does anyone know if I can do this? Or if anyone has a xaser iii and a chieftec/antec case, can you see if the side panel will fit? Thanks
