AV Question

I have NOD32 v2 running and KAV Lite 40.71 for a backup scanner.The KAV monitor does not load when I boot up. Now my question. Can the KAV monitor still affect programs even though it isn't running? I am having some minor problems with some programs hanging even if I disable NOD's AMON.

You should never use 2 background monitors running at the same time, they will interfere with each other big time. Pick one and use it.

I use Norton, and that's the only AV installed on here. I use Housecall (free online scanner at Trend Micro) for a backup scanner.

The KAV Monitor is not running. I even checked the task manager.
