How would I go about finding out what type of video card I have on my PC?

Which way do you mean that? PCI / AGP? ATI / nVidia?

System specs, like computer make and model, etc, will also be helpfull! :D

I have a HP Pavillion mx70 with windows Xp. I installed Medal of Honor: Allied Assault and it crashes on startup. The Readme file said that when that happens it is because my video card driver does not support OpenGL correctly and the solution is to go to my video card manufacturers website and download updated drivers for my card. The problem is I don't know what kind of card I have. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Pavilion MX70 actually is the model number of your monitor. If your computer is from HP as well, then it's number should be at the very bottom of the front, something like Pavilion 9905, should always be a 4-digit number for HP's I think.

Anyways, if you just want to know what model of video card you have, you can do this:

1) right-click on desktop (anywhere on your screen)

2) click properties

3) click Settings

4) click Advanced

5) click the little Adapter tab, this should show you your video card (e.g. GeForce 3) and whether it's in an AGP or PCI slot

If you want to know who manufactured it, you'll have to look at the card, it'll be printed on it. My HP came with an Asus GeForce 3, although I'm sure manufacturers will vary from model to model.
