It causes more trouble than it solves. If it pops-up on your screen cancel the install.

Agreed. I pretty much prefer my computer to watch DVDs than the TV.

"PC Friendly DVD" is one of those dead ends some moron thought would make money. It's supposed to be a 'free' DVD player.
It shows up on random DVDs, though the Harry Potter series is one of them, and promises to install DVD software and extra content.
What it does is mess with your installed player and create start-up problems.
If you haven't had trouble with it before, you will soon.
