Hard Drive Dropped

I recently dropped my Hard Drive from about 4 feet and it hit hard on marble floor, and it is now making a loud humming noise and takes a long time to transfer data, im pretty sure its f#cked up, is there anything i can do, besides run my self into a wall?

Run the manufacture's diagnostic tools on the drive. A fall like that probably messed it up pretty badly. Even if the diag tests come back ok, I'd start backing up your data and think about replacing the drive especially since it's making weird noises.

It's screwed... a drop like that has easily damaged the heads and possibly put the platters outta whack.

back up the files you want to keep immediately and buy a new one. Don't worry, HDD's drives come and go.
