Cant rid backdoor.sdbot

I have read and tried deleting files in registry that symantec tells you. It is hiding in C:\windows\sys32\msconfig45.exe

I have ran pccillin, symantec, ad aware, spybot, etc and have removed or deleted the files they found. I have disabled sys restore.

When I search for the file it finds it but wont let me delete it.

I am missing something because I run Norton AV after doing all this and it keeps telling me it found backdoor.sdbot.

Any help greatly appreciated!:)

Use the removal procedures in SAFE MODE.

Try Trend Micro's generic sysclean, download it and the latest pattern files.

Got it, just had to go into safe mode like Symantec says and delete file while in safe mode after scanning. Thanks
