What software? The GAIN files that sometimes pop in your Start Menu? If that is the case, just delete them. That is all you can do.

If you are using WinME or XP you can goto start/run/regedit---usually HKEY LOCAL MACHINE/Software---->find the source and delete it.......DO NOT DO THIS IF YOU ARE UNSURE OF THE ACTUAL FILE----IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU FIND AND ISOLATE THE ONE YOU WANT TO DELETE....OK that was the disclaimer and it sounds like you need to be a PC-wiz but if its the actual program/file with nothing else attached, then you got the one you want to remove........

Might be helpful if you find a mentor to help you if you are not sure about all this.....Gain and Gator are attached to allot of software and sometimes you can't get the software without it---I just remove it later from Control Panel or Reg-Edit.....

I have gotten Spybot and Ad-Aware and cleaned out my HD. No I run Pop-Up Stopper in the background and I am having no problems! Expecially with GAIN!
