Ive got Battlefield 1942 about a week ago. I can play it but it studders everyonce in awhile... I thought it would work fine but if I try to play it on anything higher then 800x600 its laggy as hell... am I doing something wrong? Should I have it set up a different way?
CPU specs:

Processr: Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4CPU 1.80GHz
Memory: 254MB RAM
Direct X Version: 9

Well, you could use some more ram and a better video card.

I dont see nothing wrong with his specs. The game requires 128 ram and recommends 256. Does this happen online or offline?

His video card is fine. I play that game on an Athlon 1600, 256mb RAM, ATI Radeon 7500 64MB, and Win XPP.

yes his video card will run the game, but anything more than 800x600 on the lowest settings will be choppy.

Offline, gets really laggy after awhile online. After about one or two games.

Games a ram whore. Put your settings really low graphically, and it will probably still stutter. Try it. If it stops, up the graphics slowly.

Is My Graphics Card **** Or Something? It Better Not Be For The Price I Paid.

No your system specs are fine. IF it is happening online it would be your internet connection and server speed. Offline im not sure what is could be. Possible a loose connection to ur monitor. I know if u jiggle the monitor wires sometimes i get a studdering screen.
BF1942 is a RAM hog, I wouldn't play it with less than 512.
