I'm having a small problem with Windows '95. The original owner of the IBM PC I obtained had enabled Outline Window dragging. I want to change back to Show Windows Content while dragging. however, I'm unable to find the right button to push. Can Somebody help me? Thanks Thorlo6

Windows 95 with Microsoft Plus!
To enable the Show Window Contents While Dragging option, use the following steps:
Click Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel, and then double-click Display.
Click the Plus! tab, click the Show Window Contents While Dragging check box , and then click OK.

Windows 95 with Internet Explorer 4.0 or 4.01
To enable the Show Window Contents While Dragging option, use the following steps:
Click Start, point to Settings, click Folder Options, and then click the View tab.
In the Advanced Settings box, click the Show Window Contents While Dragging check box , and then click OK.

Okay, small problems. I don't have Microsoft Plus!, and I have
I.E. 5.0 instead so I still can't find the folder spoken of. Any new ideas? Also, the original owner was a hospital and some right click functions on some windows have been negated.
Thanks for trying andyms18a. thorlo6

andyms18a, thanks for ALL your help, you've been very patient
with this old man. Unfortunately I don't have a win95 CD. I do have win98SE but, my audio card on this particular PC is an ISA
card, and not compatible with win98SE. We will just have to put up with outline dragging I guess. :) thorlo6

if you know the make and modall of the sound card i may be abble to find windows 98 drivers as 98 can still use ISA devices
i used to have and old 486 computer with isa sound and modem runing win98 with no problams i did put 128mgb of ram in to keep windows happy the cpu speed was 50mhz and it worked loveley for about 6 years

a look at the drivers guid site and creative shows that win98 comes with built in suport for this card and thar are updated drivers for it on the creativ web site as well so i wood go ahed and format the hard drive and install windows 98 or just upgrade to 98 but that may not fix your problams as it will inherit the policy setings fom 95
