I was wondering if there was anyway to run some of these programs from a floppy or a CD.

Partition Magic
Window Washer
AIDA32 (http://www.aida32.hu/aida32.php)
Atomic Clock Sync (http://www.worldtimeserver.com/atomic-clock/)
Free Meter (http://www.tiler.com/freemeter/)
Ad-Aware (http://www.lavasoftusa.com/support/download/)

not important

I assume you mean without installing them?
I don't think so.

most programs that can be run from the disc give you the option at install......chances are, if you weren't given the choice or if there is no setting under options, you can't. most programs need to make registry entries to run.

On the AIDA site it says AIDA32 personal and network edition can run on a floppy. I downloaded both versions but they don't give an option to do that. So, does anyone know how to do it?
