Well after building a sweet computer, with one of those windows in the side, it would be nice if I could keep all the damn dust out of there. Anyone have any tips?

Running a filter in the front intake helps. Most newer cases come with one, but there is usually enough space in older ones to put your own filter in (even though it may be tough to get to...).
I've read that other Forum Members have great luck using a Scotch Bright pad (a.k.a. "greenies") as a filter.

filters? what's the fun in that? then i wouldn't have a reason to buy a can of compressed air to clean out the case every couple of months! just kidding...
for filters, try: http://www.coolerguys.com/productslist.aspx?categoryid=126
have fun

Awesome. And about that compressed air, where can I get some. How do I use it correctly?

All of the box store sell the cans of air. You might even check a K-Mart type facility.
I use Scotch-Brite pads for filters. I prefer the blue ones.

First, you cannot keep it from getting dusty on the inside.
Second, the problem with a filter is that they eventually restrict air flow causing the system to runn hotter. And with a filter you never know how long it will take to clog.
The best way to decrease dirt on the inside
Never set the computer on a rug or floor.
Never Smoke or place and ashtray near the tower.
Keep Animals away (ie: Screw the Lap Cat)
This way you can open it up and clean it once every six to 10 months.

to properly use a can of compressed air... I always unplug the comp from the wall... take off one side of the case (opposite the mobo)... ground myself... then start blowing dust from the top and work my way towards the bottom... if it's the first time you've cleaned out the case you may want to take it outside as there may be more dust than you imagined...

In additon to going outside, make sure that if you are going to turn the can of air upside down so the liquid comes out, that the PC is cold and that you do not turn it on for a while. The liquid gas is COLD - remember the idea about dipping a rose in liquid nirotgen and the tappinfg it on the table? It shatters, so can the PC part,
Even better, don't turn the can of air upside down so the liquid comes out.
