Winamp drops the volume

Windows 2000, Winamp 2.79

Brother's computer is acting weird. It has worked fine for ages.

Now every time Winamp goes to the next song, the volume control for "Wave" (not main volume control) for the computer goes down to zero.

Any ideas?

Hi Jim,

Go to Options > Preferences > Plug-ins > Output > waveOut Ouput and click Configure and make sure "Restore to original value on stop" is disabled and that "Volume control" is enabled. Your brother should also consider upgrading to version 2.9, it's the same interface (not like version 3) but with more bug-fixes. Hope this helps.
