Is there any alternative to ACDsee viewer? I just want the exploer and viewing capabilities to sort pictures. I do not like using the thumbnail in XP.

Irfanview (http://www.irfanview.com) is a great, and free, graphics editor. Be sure to get all the plug-ins, too.
