sorry to see him go. he was tough outlasting the 3 months the doctors originally gave him (guess it was the lawyers, guns and money)

It is indeed sad, though when I heard he had a project going, I felt that it was likely he would pass shortly after it was finished.
While it is a somewhat morbid read, a book called "The Way We Die" by Dempsey I beleive (All my stuff is in storage pending a new home being built) talked about how terminally ill people can often postpone their own death to fullfill seeing something through - a marriage of a child- project- graduation etc. Once the event occurs the passing follows quickly.
Regardless, as y name is Rowland (OK I spell it wrong) I always had an affinity for the Thomspon gunner song.

Incredible imagery, he is already sorely missed.
