For some reason I cannot take a screenshot, I press Ctrl+ prnt screen but tothing happens! Whats wrong here!!! Someone please help me I need this shots very importantly!!!

Umm don't you do the print screen button and then go into Paint or something and paste it (ctrl+v). That's worked for me...

Print Screen and pasting it into MS PAINT works for me.

Try finding a screen capture utility if you have no success with this.

Nothing happens when i hit the keys, I have no option to PASTE!!! I need it cause its for a project thats due tommorw, about the utility, it works fine except that it wont take a screnneshot IN my game, its just windows!!!

OK... lets just go thorugh this once more. You start the game... press Print Scrn>Alt Tab out>Open MS Paint>ctrl+v to paste. That doesnt work? Sorry for not bringing any moe idea's into play, but I have utterly no idea why it wouldnt work... :(

there are games where this trick works, but ive had several too where it doesnt work at all. same when i take a screenshot in windows with my tv app on. where the tv image was, there's a pink screen. maybe this is something with all the overlays.

the game programmer can easily disable the printscreen feature, I'm not sure if this is the case though, if it is the case here, you need to try some screen capturing utility.

For me to do a print screen I have to press the PrtScn button and then open imaging. Then I have to create a new imaging JPG file and then right click and paste or CTRL V.

like 99% of games have THEIR OWN capture button, look in the manual or controls.

FARPs seemed to fix the problem, I think the problem was the keyboard hotkeys, ex: PrtScr was the print hotkey, even though i had already disabled the program. So i used the program to set a differrent key. Thanks everyone for your help, once again PcMech has saved me!! :D

azscary, he means FRAPS, a proggie you can use to make in-game movies. i use it with vice city. i posted the link to it a little earlier.

pretty good program, but keep the resolution low or ts strats stuttering like mad when recording in game.
