I'm thinking of getting a new keyboard and mouse and can't decide if I should get USB or PS/2. Is there any difference in performace, life expectancy, etc.?

sence the computer already has the ps/2 built in, I would go that route, but when the devices come with a usb connector, the choices are reduced.
If you get to a point where you start useing a lot of usb devices, I would highly recommend that you get a self-powered hub, and use it.
PS/2. The ports are there and can't be used for anything else.
No difference in performance (what is performance anyway when it comes to a keyboard  ) or lifetime.
It depends on your needs. If you want hotplug capability or want to connect the mouse to the keyboard, go USB. Otherwise, doesn't matter, I do believe PS/2 is cheaper.
Mice almost always come as USB with a PS/2 adapter. I even believe all optical mice come as USB, and I recommend getting an optical mouse, they're great.

that keyboard is hot ace. Mouse not so hot whenyou get it out of the package. The mouse actually looks a little cheap. They keyboard also says in the manuel that it might have some software problems but i havent had any yet.
