Bit of a random question but do i actually have to have a hub/bridge for a wireless network in my house, its very short distances were talking here or can i just go from one pc to the laptop e.g.

Wireless PCI Adapter
TO
Wireless PCMCIA Adapter

So its sort of the same idea as a crossover cable.

You can go from adapter to adapter if they both can be set to the "ad hoc" (workgroup) mode. Normal configuration is Infrastructure (wireless access point) mode.
