The Visual Source Safe version 6 was releasde in 1998. does anybody know if a new version is planned and when is it going to be released. I trying to decide whether to buy the VSS 6.0 now or wait for a new version.

I think a new version will be released with Visual studio.NET. This is planned for September 2001.
