i use the aiw 8500 le video card and have been exporting some of the videos i edit to tape. is there a way to get that volume any higher. i am using the onboard sound, and have maxed out the sound in windows. if there is no way to get it any louder, what would recommend as far as a sound card goes, or in-line amplification. at work, we onboard sound card, and then we send it to an 8-channel mixer and then to the tape deck. this is what i would like, but is somewhat cost prohibitive. any suggestions?
thanks

Have you experiment with the LINE OUT or WAV? If not, can you run the audio through an amplifier before the tape?

yeah i have experimented with the line out. as far as an amplifier goes, the only thing i think i could do would be to run and eigth inch out of my 6-speaker system (headphone jack) to composite in on the recorder. i could then control the volume from the speakers, ergo outputting at a higher volume. this should work shouldn't it? Thanks.
