Wierd problem with IE 6

I just ran across a problem I have never had before. I am running xp with IE 6. I went to ebay to sell something. I click on SELL and then it prompts me to sign in. When I put in my password and hit SUBMIT the IE window closes out automatically with no error message or anything. Same results after trying this 3 ttimes. The only thing I just installed was a MS Wireless Base Station.

Any ideas here, although I have not been surfing too long after the software change, it has only happened on Ebay so far.

BTW

I'm not running a firewall other than the one built into the MS Base Station.
