I can't find a replacement for a Travelstar 4.3gb model # DKLA-24320. Anyone have any ideas where to look? Also, where can I find a list of what drives will replace it?? ('been to IBM....)

It would help if you posted the model of the laptop that this is for.

That's a 9.5mm height drive, and *any* 9.5mm drive will physically fit - the only issue with using a larger capacity drive would be a possible system bios limitation. This can be overcome with software (EZ-Bios) but this is not a great solution. The common limitations are 8.4gb and 33.4gb so you would probably be safe with *any* brand 8.4gb or smaller 9.5mm drive. There are tons on Pricewatch.

I saw the drives listed on Pricewatch, couldn't find an exact replacement...just need to know what will work and what won't...
