What is the difference between these two Seagate Serial ATA 80G HD's with 8m cache? They have different model numbers and prices, but both are serial ATA, 80G and 8M cache. http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduct.asp?catalog=14&DEPA=1&submit=property&mfrcode=0&propertycode=&propertycodevalue=4570,2999

How much ( if any) performance difference is there between the two?
I believe the single platter drive may be a bit faster because the media density is higher. In spite of the extra heads, the head carriage will still have to move over a longer distance to seek the data on the lower density platters.
