I would personally like to see a forum that is specific to new build component choices. I am always unsure of which forum to post specs in to get input on component selection. My 2cents.

I don't know if it was you or not, but I've been seeing this suggestion scattered around the forums.

It may be a good idea to have a "New builds" forum, but that would be a lot of work moving everything around again.

I think General Hardware is a good place for these posts.

It would thin out the G H forum a bit. Everybody already posts everything there as it is. Seems like one in every ten is a "first build" checklist...

force_flow2002, jeez just asking man....But no this is maybe the second time I ever made a suggestion here, and certainly never THIS suggestion. Maybe it is because MORE than one guy thinks this would be a good idea! Ya think? Hmmmm, this is the "PC Mech Site Suggestion forum" isn't it?
Maybe I posted in the wrong place.....
THX for the support Kov-Ice.

Sorry folks that sounded tacy after I reread my POST. I apologize. I just got up from a 12 hr. and should at least get my first cup of joe before posting. Sorry.

AU: No need to be so touchy - it *IS* a lot of work rearranging forums and the staff here is 100% volunteer. You are also treading kinda close to the edge of our policy of showing respect to other members, and your sarcasm is duly noted with no prejudice. It's my opinion as a staff member that FF2K2's post did not exceed the bounds of decency. ALL suggestions in this forum are read by staff, and are discussed as necessary. Dr. Zaius has expressed the staff's view at this time.
