View Full Version : Can't change print margins

Wasn't sure whether to put this in General Software or Peripherals, so just stuck it here for the time being

OK, In Microsoft Access XP I can't make the 'bottom' print margin for my printer any smaller than 15.93 which is very frustrating as I want to fit everything on one page (I am printing data onto a pre printed form with the final input box being about 1cm from the bottom)

Any ideas?

HP Deskjet 670C, sorry I didn't mention before

That's likely the limits of the printer, no inkjet can print right to the edge of the paper.

The HP 670C will only print to about 1.50cm from the bottom of the page will print from 1cm from the top

The Canon i850 and i550 and some others will print to the edge of an 8.5 X 11 sheet

Just a thought - I wonder if you can fool the printer by telling it that it has US Legal paper in it? (Assuming you are using A4?) - or if you are using US Letter, tell it you are using A4?
