Favorites in IE 6

I transfered my favorites in IE 5.5 to IE 6. Now they are all scrambled and sometimes alfabethized. I have tried to put them into the order I like them to be especially under Links, but IE 6 keeps messing them up again. It is a never ending battle. I'm thinking about going back to IE 5.5
can anyone offer suggestions as to how I can keep my favorites in the order I like them to be?

I usually find if you => click favourites then right click any website in the favourites list and select "Sort by name" it seems to work :) Do the same for each sub folder.

I'm sorry, but I don't understand what you mean by "=> click favourites".
Also, I right clicked websites in my favorites and there is no "Sort by Name" in the drop down list. Anyway I don't want to sort by name(alaphbetically), I would like to put the items in my own order by dragging and dropping. When I do this. IE 6 eventually restores them to an alphebetic sequence.

Arte you dragging them around in "Favorites" or in "Organize Favorites"?

I have tried dragging them in both places, but they will not stay where I drag them. They stay for awhile, then before I know what happened, they move around themselves to where I don't want them.
