I'm using irfan view, I open the picture, I go to image resize, I set lower on width number and it reduces picture.

Might be because when you resize, you are squishing all the pixels together, and that makes it blury

.jpgs are not good for image resizing/editing. They're only good for internet posting. The image file is reduced so it's faster to d/l. Our production dept. prefers working with .eps files from adobe.

Besides I doubt if he wants to buy Adobe Illustrator just so that he can use .eps files. Jpg's can be shrunk without any much image loss, they just can't be enlarged.

The main problem with the pictures IMO is what you are starting with. You really need to get tighter better quality shoots. Use better lighting in your shots and get rid of the background, maybe get a white posterboard or something as a background.
