Dual Monitors PLUS TV Out???

Hi All,

I have a VERTO FX 5200 Video card with dual monitor output and TV out, but apparently you can't use all three outputs at once.

Does anyone know if I can use my motherboard stock monitor output (which is also an Nvidia chipset) for my primary monitor, and one monitor output from the 5200, and then turn on the TV out from the 5200.

I've tried simply connecting one monitor to the mobo, and one to the video card, and it doesn't work... any suggestions?

I don't think you can do what your are attempting.
In order to get the VERTO FX 5200 card to work you had to disable the onboard video.
To get your two monitor and one tv combo you can get a splitter for the second output and connect a vga to video adapter to the one end of the splitter for the tv. With this setup you will have the exact same image on the second monitor and the tv.
To have three indepent monitors you would either have to add a pci video card or switch to a matrox parhelia. There are other multiple monitor but these are some of the cheapest routes you can go.

You can't just use a splitter, you need a DA (distrubution amp) for additional video outputs! You can get away with splitting a audio line level (but still isn't recomemned), but NOT video. You lose 3db when you divide the signal and probably some frequency response!

And for using the on board video, you can feasibly have two vid cards in the same system for multiple monitors, yes, but getting the drivers to work when they're both of the same manufacturer and using the same driver set is another matter altogether. That I don't know if you could pull off.
