Ok, here's my situation: I want to beable to play games on my playstation or whatever through my pc. I know there's gotta be a way to do this - but i am feeling completely clueless.
I've looked at some basic TV tuner cards, and some of them appear to have a video input (yellow jack) but no place for audio. I have an A7N8X Deluxe motherboard which has integrated sound - which has a blue audio input jack and a pink one (for the mic). It also has a yellow S/PDIF port which i have no idea what that's for.
For my video I have a GeForce FX 5600U. it has an S-Video port and a thingie to convert it to an rca jack of some sort? but i'm guessing that's output only?
As you can probably tell, I'm completely clueless here. So i'll take any advice that I can get, especially as to how i can get my PC set up to hook up my gaming consoles.
While I'm at it, i suppose i could use a recommendation for a TV tuner card. I don't have a tv, though playing video games is my priority here.
Thanks!
