I have been converting my home movies to VCD thru my TV turner card (Coaxial cable) by connecting to my vcr to it and recording from there. My TV Turner has a Video in Connection and I noticed that if I connect my VCR RCA COMPOSITE CABLE I get better quality but I don’t have where to connect the red or white cable for sound.

Do I have to buy a sound card that has the RCA connections or is there another way of doing this without buying a sound card?

Also I was wondering for you guys that have DVD burners I was wondering if you are happy with your buy or do you wish you would of waited for more advanced technology?

Hi Doobie,

Just by an adaptor for RCA to mini-jack stereo and plug it in the sound card's line in. Should do the trick.

edit: PS: Yes, I was happy getting my DVD burner when I did. If you wait for newer tech, you'll be waiting forever!
