Lost Prophet

I just recently upgraded to an XP 2600+ Barton (333 fsb) with 512Mb Corsair DDR 400 RAM. My problem is that I can't seem to get them to clock at their intended speeds at the same time. If I set the CPU clock to 166 in order to get the full rating of the processor, then the ram only allows 166 also. If I set the ram to 200 like it's supposed to, then the CPU only goes to 100 or 133, etc. I've tried overclocking the CPU and adjusting the CPU/PCI divider and can get the CPU to clock at 200 (400fsb) with the ram at 200 (400Mhz) but then it won't even boot up when I save.
The Mobo manual says it supports both. It also says that the memory has to clock at the same speed or greater than the cpu.....NOT the other way around. So that doesn't make any sense to me either.
Any suggestions??
Thanks
