I just stumbled upon the Xoxide Megacube case. Wow! Where's my bib?
Is there anyone on this site who has built, considered building or is going to builld a quad cpu? Would doing so make programs run faster? And would it have any benefits at all for gaming and just how would one go about doing so? Take a look and let me know what you think please.

These kind of rigs are specially built for server purposes. I doubt that the average PCMecher is willing to cough up the extra $$$ to build anything like that.

I dream about making a build like this. It will be a Monster! But I can't find any sources of funds for a build like that. Maybe when I'm a retired CPA 45 yrs from now :D

Games these days don't use more then one CPU... so whether you have 1, 2, 3, or 4, it will all perform about the same(assuming the speeds are set the same). Multiple CPU's is only usefull for things that process a lot of different info from different sources... such as a server. Some programs such as Photoshop also gain from dual cpu's, don't know a about any more. Only gain of multiple CPU's is the ability is possibly burn or rip CD's with one processor while gaming on another.
