An Unreal Tournament professional league is opening, with the first season paying 4 grand in cash plus a free trip to the public finals for the best 6 man teams out there.

As of now, any clan can register.

This is a big step in online gaming, hopefully it'll take off as a recognized sport and we'll see more such tournaments in the future ;).

Too bad my lame dial-up prohibits me from exploiting <PcM>cobra's full frag potential. To anyone who says ping does not matter, in a fps game with a 32k connection that lags "full time", ping does matter.

Yeap, I'd say 32k is definitely HPB material ;). Luckily, my current clan has some great players, and only one 56k out of the bunch. Out of the six of us who'll play, four (including myself, thank ya very much :D) rank top 25 every week that we play in TDM.
