ripped dv tape

alright, the football coach at our school compiled all of the highlights onto a dv tape. somehow, he managed to rip the tape, but the casing is still intact. does anyone know how to go about repairing this, or who to take it to.

I had a problem just like that before.

I took mine to the Film department of my local College.

The students there were able to splice the tape..or something like that. Only cost me a six pack:)

That's all I can think of, maybe call someone at the local TV station for the number of a technition?

alright, well i work at a local tv station, didn't even think of that. thanks, i will ask at work tonight.
