Outlook 2002 - Clearing previous seaches list

I've had a look around but i can't work it out (maybe it's not possible). I'm looking for a way to clear out the list of previous searches you've done which are listed in the search box when you click the find button, or advanced find (the simple find search cache is folder specific seemingly).

Have you tried highlighting the unwanted ones and hitting the delete key?
