program still runing?

I just downloaded the driver for my lexmark printer but now when i shutdown it tells me lexPPS is still runing. I didint have that problem on my other computer (that driver was on a CD with the printer, not a DL) Im runing on win95. Will disableing printer icon just make the icon go away or will it also stop runing the program when not used?

The icon by the clock is the one you want to turn off. Right click it and see if you get an option to shut it down. That will shut down the program. Sounds like you have some other conflict tho' if the system won't shut down.

Turned it off, its fine now.
